Regina Gunn
Instructor/Run Club+ Coach
Regina has been an active member of FIT4MOM East DuPage West Cook since 2021 and brings nearly 20 years of experience in exercise science, athletic training, injury rehabilitation, and teaching. A wife to Matt and mom to Amelia and Elly (plus their dog Kinnick), Regina teaches high school Health Science and is a certified Athletic Trainer with a deep passion for helping others move well, feel strong, and build confidence through fitness.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of Iowa—go Hawks!—along with graduate degrees in Exercise Science and Nutrition Education. Her extensive background allows her to guide moms safely through prenatal and postpartum fitness, stroller workouts, and mom-only strength training with expertise and compassion.
Regina loves creating a welcoming environment where moms feel supported, connected, and impressed by what their bodies can accomplish. Whether she’s coaching form, modifying for injury, or cheering moms on through Stroller Strides®, she is dedicated to helping every woman reach her movement goals.
Regina uses her training and experience from running 8 marathons to coach our Run Club+.
