EDWC: How long have you been with FIT4MOM East DuPage West Cook, and what has it done for you?
C: I joined last May and so glad I did! I've been able to get back into working out regularly and meet and do social things with other moms in the area.
EDWC: What is your favorite part about class?
C: Moving my body and chatting with other moms about our kiddos and that hectic parent life - it's such a fun and supportive group!
EDWC: What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
C: I didn't realize how it could be a really lonely experience especially if you don't have other mom friends who are going through the same thing as you and can relate.
EDWC: What are three of your favorite things?
C: Books, tea, and good food
EDWC: What is your proudest mommy moment so far?
C: My daughter was at the park and climbing up some tricky stairs - another child tried to help her and she said "No, I can do this myself."
EDWC: What advice would you give to a new mother?
C: Find your village! Parenting is a wild ride and you need all the support you can get.
